How to use it

  1. Measure your hose's flow: time filling a 5-gallon bucket, then GPM = 5 ÷ minutes.
  2. Enter that and the gallons to fill.
  3. Don't leave a filling pool fully unattended overnight on a meter you don't want to overrun.

Tips for filling

Two hoses roughly halve the time. If you're on metered water, ask your utility about a pool-fill credit (some waive sewer charges for water that doesn't enter the sewer). Add a hose filter to keep metals out of fresh fill water.
